No matter what’s going on in your life there is a prayer for it.
No, I don’t mean only in the bible; although He gives us a multitude of prayer examples.
When life is squeezing more out of you than you think you have, you need only humble yourself before God and share your heart and needs. True, He knows your heart, but for us to give our troubles to Him, showing our need in Him, is what He asks of us. He truly loves us and loves to bless us.
While the world will attack our beliefs in this new age remember Jesus told us He is the same today, and yesterday:
"Jesus Christ
is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings" (Hebrews 13:8-9, NIV).
David sinned and knew the pain of separation from God that caused. But he always returned to his Lord with a humble heart which he shared with the Lord:
Hear my cry, O God; listen to my prayer. From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Psalm 61:1-4)
Share your heart with Him today; share your prayers with other saints, that they too might pray in agreement:
“Whenever two or three of you come together in my name I am there with you.” (Matthew 18:19b, 20, CEV).
“It may be difficult to sort out how we feel and why we feel the way we do. But when we love others, we know that we belong to the truth, and we feel at ease in the presence of God. But even if we don’t feel at ease, God is greater than our feelings, and he knows everything,.” (1 John 3:19,20, CEV).
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven” (Matt. 18:19).
